Phrases like ‘knowing your fate’ and ‘understanding your destiny’ are fascinating, aren’t they? This curiosity of man to steal a glance into his future has been ancient. It is this spirit of enquiry, which gave birth to the world of predictive sciences. Palmistry, also known as Chiromancy, is an inherent part of this very world. It is amazing how a person’s hands can be so insightful. Each line on the palms speaks of certain traits and events that will occur in the individual’s life. The intricate lines are unique to different individuals; just like no two persons can have the same fingerprints, no two persons can have the same combination of palm lines as well! The study is complicated. One cannot decipher the hidden codes randomly; interpretations cannot be thrown in any general direction as such. Each individual has his own journey of life to traverse, and palmistry is helpful in decoding the dynamism of this very journey. Did you know the lines in your palm keep on changing as you grow? And so does your fate. In fact, even the shape, size, length, and colour of your fingers have to be taken into account while making predictions in palmistry. The study is not momentary. It has to go on forever until the last breath of the individual. And, there’s science in every bit of it. Let’s take a look at some of the basic aspects of studying this science.
Every individual has an active hand and a passive hand. The active hand is dominant and shows the major changes in a person’s life. The passive hand is non-dominant and shows the inherent characteristics of a person. Both should be considered while studying the palms.
The shape of the hands tells a lot about the overall persona of an individual. It must be studied in reference to the colour of the skin and the shape, size, and length of each finger as well. There are, however, major groups of hands:
Square hands have short, square fingers and fingertips. The palm is large and somewhat long. People with such hands are downright practical. They are influential and dominating.
This shape is wide at the base and narrow at the fingers. The fingers are long, smooth and pointed at the tips. The palm is proportionate and fleshy. Overall, the hands look graceful. People with such hands are artistic in nature. Needless to say, they are creative as well.
The hand is club-shaped. The fingers are short with square tips. The skin is rough and the lines on the palm are distinctive. People with such hands are dependable and hard workers. They are down-to-earth and humble.
Squarish with a broad base and small thumb, such hands tend to be more wide than long. The palm is thick and lines are deep. People with spatulate hands are confident, social, and lovable.
Philosophic hands are long with long fingers. The fingertips are fleshy and the hands are very firm. People with such hands tend to become great philosophers. But, they can be diplomatic and reclusive.
Such hands are slender and long. The palm can be very narrow and thin. People with psychic hands are considered idealistic. They are patient and very imaginative.
The shape of the palm is square and the shapes of the fingers vary. People with mixed hands are very adaptive and compassionate. They turn out to be able managers and specialise in multi-tasking.
Of all the lines in your palms, four are primary – the life line, the heart line, the head line, and the fate line. The fourth line is not found in all.
Palmistry predictions are based on the length, depth, and clarity of the lines. Because these lines are shaped when we form a fist in our mother’s womb, their intensity depends on how strongly the fist was made. This, again, depends on our mother’s health and our condition as a foetus. The healthier a baby, the more intense will be the lines. This, however, has nothing to do with our future. For instance, a weak baby with a faded life line need not necessarily live a short life span. In fact, this individual can outlive a healthy baby with a deeper life line. It’s all relative and depends on how a person chooses to live his life.
This apart, the palm of a person’s hand also depicts a number of markings, each of which has a profound meaning. A palmist while predicting an individual’s fate should consider all these aspects. Palmistry is an engrossing field of study. You have to experience it to believe it.
